Your questions,
answered honestly
A complete 5-page website starts from £495. That’s a fixed price — no hourly rates, no surprise invoices at the end. You know exactly what you’re paying before we start.
If you need something bigger or more complex, get in touch and I’ll put together a tailored quote.
Everything you need to launch and start getting customers — a 5-page website, professional copywriting, mobile-friendly design, on-page SEO, a contact form, and unlimited revisions until you’re happy. Nothing held back for a higher tier.
Once I have everything I need from you — a quick brief about your business, any photos or branding, and confirmation of what pages you need — the clock starts. 72 hours later you’ll have a finished website ready to review.
The timeline depends on you getting me the information promptly, but I’ll guide you through exactly what I need to keep things moving.
Not much. A brief overview of your business, what pages you want, any photos or a logo if you have them, and your contact details. I handle the rest — writing the copy, designing the pages, and building the site.
If you don’t have a logo or photos, don’t worry. I can work with what you’ve got or advise on next steps.
The Silver package includes 5 pages — typically Home, About, Services, Portfolio or Blog, and a Contact page. The exact structure depends on your business and we’ll work out what makes the most sense for you before we start.
If you want more content, the Gold package includes everything in Silver plus 5 SEO-researched blog posts written and published over 30 days, which is a great way to build authority and target more search terms from day one.
Need even more than that? Get in touch and I’ll put together a custom quote.
Every package includes unlimited revisions. If something isn’t right, I fix it. No arguments, no extra charges. The website doesn’t go live until you’re genuinely happy with it.
Before we start, I send over a discovery questionnaire that asks you to share examples of sites you like the look of — but the question that helps the most is what you definitely don’t want. That rules out a lot before a single pixel gets placed.
I also ask what a roaring success looks like to you — what would need to be true for you to be genuinely delighted with the finished site.
Yes — head to the Our Work section on the homepage to see websites we’ve built for other businesses. If you want to see something specific to your industry, just ask.
I write it all. Professional copywriting is included in every package. You give me a brief about your business and I’ll write content that sounds like you, speaks to your customers, and is optimised for search engines.
If you’d prefer to supply your own copy, that’s fine too.
Yes, every website is fully mobile-responsive as standard. With more than half of all web traffic coming from mobile devices, a site that doesn’t work on a phone isn’t really a website — it’s a liability. All devices, all screen sizes, covered.
Every website includes on-page SEO as standard — that means properly structured headings, optimised page titles and meta descriptions, fast loading speeds, and content written with your target keywords in mind.
SEO is a long game, but you’ll be starting on the right foot from day one. If you want to go further with local SEO, that’s available as an add-on.
If you already have hosting, no problem — we’ll build and deploy to your existing setup. If you don’t have hosting yet, we can take care of it for you for just £25 per year. Either way, you own the site and are never tied to us.
Yes. Websites are built on WordPress, which means you can log in and make basic changes yourself — updating text, adding photos, writing blog posts — without needing any technical knowledge.
If you’d rather not deal with any of that, ongoing support is available.
Yes. If you need updates, changes, or ongoing maintenance after launch, just get in touch. I offer flexible support on a pay-as-you-go basis — no retainer required unless you want one.
Yes. Web Design Middlesbrough is run by Danny, based locally and focused on helping Middlesbrough and Teesside businesses get online properly. Everything is handled directly — no outsourcing, no junior designers, no account managers in the way.
No — while the focus is on Middlesbrough and the wider Teesside area, everything is handled remotely so I work with businesses across the UK. If you’re outside the area, get in touch and we’ll go from there.
No office, no account managers, no junior designers, no project managers taking a slice. When you work with me, you deal directly with the person doing the work. Lower overheads means lower prices — and faster turnaround.
Cheaper doesn’t mean worse. It means there’s no agency markup on top of the actual work.
No problem. Get in touch with details of what you’re looking for and I’ll put together a tailored quote. Larger websites, multiple service pages, blog setups — all doable.
Yes. eCommerce websites and online shops are available as part of the Custom package. I build on WooCommerce, which is the most widely used eCommerce platform for WordPress — reliable, flexible, and easy to manage once it’s live.
Get in touch with details of what you need and I’ll put together a quote.
Yes. Alongside web design I also offer SEO, social media management, and video production — we love talking about all of them on the blog — all designed to work together to grow your business online.
If you’re interested in any of these services individually or as part of a package, get in touch and we’ll have a conversation about what makes sense for your business.
Still got a question?
Drop it in the box and I’ll get back to you within a few hours. No sales pitch, just a straight answer.
